Glow Walk

Glow Walk purchase and optional ticket-protection terms

Effective October 21, 2026 · Christmas Light Productions (CLP)

Before you book

Choose admission with or without optional ticket protection. Protection costs $3 per adult/teen and $2 per child and is administered and funded directly by CLP. It adds the defined personal-emergency and weather refund options below. Neither choice is preselected. A change of mind or ordinary schedule change is not covered. Your saved purchase records the choice, affected admissions, exact charge and policy version.

Your event and arrival

These terms apply to Glow Walk at Lincoln Park Lights in Galesburg, Illinois, on December 1, 2026 (weather backup December 8), and Glow Walk at FairGlow in Mendon, Illinois, on December 7, 2026 (weather backup December 14). Your confirmation identifies your location, guests, arrival time, amount paid and protection choice.

Hours are 5–9 p.m. Central, with last arrivals at 8 p.m. Choose a half-hour arrival time for your group. Every guest, including free ages 0–3, counts toward the 300-person capacity at each event. CLP announces whether the backup date is activated.

Prices, guests and glow bags

Adult/teen ages 13+: $29 admission plus a $2 mandatory service fee, totaling $31 without protection or $34 with protection. Child ages 4–12: $14 admission plus a $2 mandatory service fee, totaling $16 without protection or $18 with protection. Ages 0–3 are free, with no service fee or protection charge. Customer tax is $0 on all these components at these two events. No additional card-processing fee is added.

Up to 20 guests may share a booking, including free toddlers, with at least one paid admission. The purchaser must be at least 18. An adult aged 18 or older must accompany and supervise every guest under 18 throughout the visit. The 13+ category is a price category, not proof of adulthood.

Each paid admission includes one complimentary bag containing an assortment of glow items. Specific items are not promised. Free ages 0–3 do not include a bag. Check-in and bag pickup are separate records. Bags have no separately assigned sale value or refund deduction.

Your optional protection choice

Choosing Yes adds protection to every paid admission in this booking: $3 per adult/teen and $2 per child. Choosing No adds no protection charge. Your checkout and confirmation show the exact total before payment. Protection is administered and funded by CLP; no third-party protection provider supplies this benefit, and it is separate from PayPal's own buyer protections.

Protection provides only the refund options defined here. It is not cancellation for any reason and does not reimburse travel, accommodation or other expenses. An approved partial-family request covers only the eligible protected admissions; other guests may still attend. A refund and usable admission or credit cannot both be kept for the same admission.

If weather changes the event

CLP decides and announces whether unsafe weather requires postponement or cancellation. Ordinary cold, rain, a forecast or a preference not to attend does not create a refund while the event operates.

If the primary event moves to the published backup, your admission remains valid for that backup. If you cannot attend the activated backup, protected admissions may be refunded or rolled over to the corresponding 2027 event. The backup does not also have to be canceled. Unprotected admissions may roll over under the credit terms below.

If weather cancels both published dates, protected admissions may be refunded or rolled over to the corresponding 2027 event. Unprotected admissions receive following-year credit under the limits below. Tell CLP which option you choose. These announced-weather situations do not require proof of illness or another personal emergency.

If weather closes the event after opening and prevents an affected protected guest from completing the walk, that admission qualifies for review under the weather refund benefit. A completed walk does not qualify because the event later closed. Check-in or bag pickup alone does not prove completion. Contact CLP about the circumstances of an affected unprotected visit for review of the unused portion and appropriate handling.

For a covered weather refund, CLP returns the eligible admission and mandatory fee actually paid: $31 per adult/teen or $16 per child at current prices. The separately disclosed $3/$2 protection charge is retained because the benefit was provided. There is no additional refund-processing or bag-value deduction.

Unexpected personal emergencies

An unforeseen circumstance arising after purchase must actually prevent the affected guest from attending. Covered reasons are illness or injury (including unexpected worsening of a previously stable condition), or necessary care for an ill or injured household member; death or a serious medical emergency involving close family or another registered household guest; a significant home emergency such as fire, flood or burglary requiring the guest's presence; an accident, vehicle breakdown, material public-transport disruption, official road closure or government travel restriction preventing arrival despite reasonable alternatives; or newly imposed compulsory jury, court, military or emergency-service duty.

Close family includes a spouse or partner, child, parent, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, and equivalent step or in-law relationships. Protected household companions who reasonably cannot attend without the affected person may qualify. For example, a free toddler's illness may prevent a protected parent and dependent children from attending. This does not automatically qualify an unrelated group. Identify the affected protected admission quantities.

Ordinary work or social schedule changes, a change of mind, a conflict known at purchase, forgetting the event, normal late arrival or a no-show without a separate covered emergency, and weather preference while the event operates do not qualify. A completed walk cannot be refunded as an unused personal-emergency admission.

An approved personal-emergency refund returns the eligible unused admission and mandatory fee actually paid: $31 per adult/teen or $16 per child at current prices. The $3/$2 protection charge is retained, with no additional refund-processing deduction. Free admissions have no cash value.

If CLP cancels for a nonweather reason

If CLP cancels for a nonweather venue or operational reason, eligible unused admissions are refundable whether or not protection was purchased. CLP returns admission, the mandatory service fee, the protection charge if paid, and attributable tax actually collected.

At current zero-tax prices, the full amount is $34 per protected adult/teen and $18 per protected child, or $31 per unprotected adult/teen and $16 per unprotected child. A free toddler admission has no cash amount to return. This remedy is separate from the weather and personal-emergency benefit.

Following-year credit and protection

A qualifying affected 2026 admission preserves the corresponding paid admission quantity and category, including its normal mandatory fee, for the corresponding CLP Glow Walk in 2027. It is a 2027 credit, not an indefinite credit or a promise that a future date, venue or event will exist. CLP will offer holders a reservation opportunity before equivalent next-year places go on public sale. Arrange your reservation when CLP announces those arrangements; capacity still applies. If CLP cannot accommodate the promised corresponding admission, the obligation remains for review rather than silently expiring.

For protected admissions, protection and qualifying refund eligibility carry with the 2027 admission without another protection charge for that same admission. If CLP does not hold the corresponding 2027 event, a protected holder may request the cash refund of the original eligible admission and fee actually paid. The original protection charge is retained. The defined personal-emergency and applicable weather/backup options also carry forward. This does not become cancellation for any reason or a promise of repeated annual rollovers.

For unprotected admissions, if the guest cannot attend the corresponding 2027 event or that event is not held, the credit loses its value under this organizer policy. There is no automatic organizer-policy cash refund or further year's rollover. Independently applicable legal and payment-provider rights remain, and CLP will review a disputed outcome.

CLP records each choice and the affected admission quantities. An admission or credit must be made unusable before its cash refund is finalized. Unaffected family admissions remain separate. A rollover does not create a second bag entitlement where the bag was already collected.

Requests and evidence

Contact glowwalk@fairglow.christmas for FairGlow or glowwalk@lincolnlights.christmas for Lincoln Park Lights. If you cannot reach the event team, contact info@glowwalk.christmas. Include your registration reference, booking email, affected admission quantities, short explanation, requested refund or rollover choice, and a statement that the information is accurate.

Start a request within 60 calendar days after the affected attendance date, using an activated backup where applicable. Earlier notice is welcome. Supporting information may follow a timely request. CLP allows reasonable extensions for hospitalization, bereavement, incapacity, late cancellation notice or failure of the request system. No cutoff removes an independently applicable statutory or payment-dispute right.

For a protected 2027 admission, use the affected 2027 event or backup date. If CLP announces to the holder that no corresponding 2027 event will be held, the 60-day period starts with that notice. An unresolved future-event decision does not silently start a deadline in 2026.

Start with your explanation. If reasonable verification is needed, CLP will explain the minimum redacted information required and arrange private handling. Do not email diagnoses, full medical records, card details or passwords. A doctor's appointment solely to prove a small refund is not ordinarily required. Submitting a request is not automatic approval.

Refund handling and timing

CLP aims to acknowledge or initially respond within five business days. Approval, submission to the processor, processor completion and appearance on a card statement are separate stages. Refunds normally return through the original payment method. Bank-funded refunds may wait for clearance before PayPal completes them; the card issuer may then take additional time to post the credit. An approved or pending refund is not a promise of an instant statement credit.

If an eligible protected refund cannot return through the original payment processor, Eric or Nicole may issue a CLP check to the privately verified original purchaser. CLP first checks that no original refund, chargeback or other payout remains unresolved. Approval, check issuance, mailing and payment completion are separate records. No extra refund-processing charge is deducted.

Duplicate or mistaken charges are handled separately and refunded in full, including duplicated components. If CLP cancels the paid protection benefit without providing it, its charge is refundable. No tax is refunded if none was collected. These organizer terms do not remove independently applicable legal or payment-provider rights.

Privacy, earlier bookings and help

CLP uses booking contact details to administer registration, arrival, payment, confirmations, requests and event updates. Authorized event staff can access booking records for both initial events. PayPal supplies the secure payment fields and processes card details; Gmail delivers transactional messages. Booking is not consent to marketing.

These terms apply only when this policy version is shown and accepted in the purchase. Earlier admission-only bookings retain their original choice, amounts and policy version. Protection is not silently added to an earlier purchase. Any later add-on offer would state its own eligibility, cutoff and prospective start and require a separate choice and payment.

Keep your confirmation and reference. You do not need a customer account to book or check in. Contact the event team to correct details or review an outcome.
